My name is Monyee, and I’m so grateful you are here.

My art practice began by observing the world through as a kiddo in my family’s Chinese Seafood restaurant in Seattle’s Chinatown International district. I’ve made art for as long as I can remember, and have found that things are more powerful when they are shared through community and storytelling. You’ll often find lots of inspiration from seafood, restaurant culture, and community resonate throughout my work.
